1. About Us

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the website www.sarandaboat.com and the purchase of any tours or services offered by Saranda Boat 1, a boat tour company operating in Sarandë, Albania.

By accessing our website or completing a booking, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement, and accept these terms in full on behalf of yourself and all members of your party.

2. Bookings & Reservations

A booking is confirmed only once full payment has been received and you have been issued a booking confirmation by email. Until that point, no reservation is guaranteed.

• All bookings are subject to availability at the time of payment
• The person making the booking is responsible for ensuring all members of the party are aware of and comply with these terms
• Please ensure all passenger details (names, number of guests, special requests) are accurate at the time of booking — errors may not be correctable close to the departure date
• Bookings are non-transferable unless agreed in writing by Saranda Boat 1
• We reserve the right to refuse a booking at our discretion

You will receive a confirmation email to the address provided at checkout. Please check your spam folder if it does not arrive within 24 hours, and contact us if you have not received it. Your confirmation email will include the exact departure point and time — please arrive at least 15 minutes early, as all tours depart strictly on schedule.

3. Pricing & Payment

All prices displayed on our website are in Euros (EUR) and include any applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. Prices are subject to change without notice, but any change will not affect a booking already confirmed.

• Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your place
• Payments are processed securely via PayPal — we do not store your card or payment details
• Group bookings or private charters may require a deposit — terms will be stated clearly at checkout
• Any additional costs incurred during the tour (optional extras, food, drinks) are payable directly on board

4. Cancellations & Refunds

Cancellations by you:

• More than 24 hours before departure — full refund issued to your original payment method
• Less than 24 hours before departure — no refund available
• No-shows on the day of departure are non-refundable

Cancellations by us:

• If we cancel a tour due to adverse weather, unsafe sea conditions, or circumstances beyond our control, you will receive a full refund or the option to rebook on an alternative date
• We are not liable for any additional costs you may incur as a result of a cancellation by us (e.g. travel, accommodation)

To cancel or amend a booking, please contact us as early as possible at [email protected] or +355 69 711 0510. Refunds are processed within 5–10 business days depending on your payment provider.

5. Weather & Safety

The safety of our passengers and crew is our absolute priority. We monitor weather and sea conditions closely and reserve the right to cancel, delay, or modify any tour if conditions are deemed unsafe by our captain.

• The captain’s decision regarding departure and route is final and non-negotiable
• Tours may be altered, shortened, or cancelled due to strong winds, rough seas, fog, or other hazardous conditions
• In the event of a weather cancellation, you will be offered a full refund or rebooking at no extra charge
• We strongly recommend checking the forecast before your tour date and arriving at the departure point on time

We monitor forecasts daily during peak season. If a tour is at risk due to weather, we will contact you by email and phone as early as possible — typically the evening before or the morning of departure.

6. Passenger Responsibilities

By joining a Saranda Boat 1 tour, all passengers agree to the following:

• Arrive at the departure point at least 15 minutes before the scheduled departure time — all tours depart strictly on time and we are unable to wait for late arrivals on group tours. Late arrivals will forfeit their booking without refund
• Follow all safety instructions given by the captain and crew at all times
• Wear life jackets when instructed to do so
• Behave in a respectful and responsible manner towards crew, fellow passengers, and the marine environment
• Not consume excessive alcohol before or during the tour — the captain reserves the right to refuse boarding or remove any passenger who poses a risk to safety
• Not bring illegal substances on board
• Keep children under close supervision at all times
• Take responsibility for their personal belongings — Saranda Boat 1 is not liable for lost or damaged items

Passengers who fail to comply with these responsibilities may be asked to leave the vessel. No refund will be issued in such circumstances.

7. Health & Fitness

Our tours involve time at sea and may include swimming, snorkelling, or moving around a vessel. Passengers are responsible for ensuring they are fit to participate.

• Please inform us at the time of booking of any medical conditions, disabilities, or mobility limitations that may affect your participation or safety
• Pregnant women, passengers with serious heart conditions, or those advised against physical exertion by a doctor should seek medical advice before booking
• Children under the age of 3 may not be permitted on certain tours for safety reasons — please check with us before booking
• Saranda Boat 1 is not responsible for any pre-existing medical conditions that are aggravated during a tour
• We carry a basic first aid kit on board, but we are not a medical service — in the event of a serious medical emergency, we will make for the nearest port immediately

8. Liability & Insurance

Saranda Boat 1 operates with all legally required maritime licences and insurance under Albanian law. However, participation in any water-based activity carries inherent risk, and passengers acknowledge and accept this when booking.

• Saranda Boat 1 shall not be liable for any personal injury, loss, damage, or expense arising from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to adverse weather, acts of nature, or passenger behaviour
• We strongly recommend that all passengers hold comprehensive travel insurance that covers water-based activities before travelling
• Our liability in any circumstances is limited to the value of the booking made
• Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our own negligence

We strongly advise all guests to purchase travel insurance that includes coverage for boat tours and water activities prior to arrival in Albania.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on www.sarandaboat.com — including text, photographs, videos, graphics, logos, and branding — is the property of Saranda Boat 1 and is protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws.

• You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any of our content for commercial purposes without prior written consent
• Photographs or videos taken by our crew during tours may be used for promotional purposes — please inform us if you do not wish to appear in any such material
• Guests are welcome to share personal photos from their tour on social media — we’d love to see them!

10. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Albania. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Albanian courts.

If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

11. Changes to These Terms

Saranda Boat 1 reserves the right to update or amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. It is your responsibility to review these terms before making a booking.

Continued use of our website or services after changes have been posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
